When to Visit Arches National Park
Arches National Park is open year-round, but the best time to visit is in the spring or fall. The temperatures during these seasons are mild, making for comfortable hiking and exploring. If you're looking to avoid the crowds, you may want to visit during the winter or summer. Just be aware that the temperatures can be extreme during these times! If you're planning on doing any hiking, be aware that some trails may be closed due to snowmelt in the spring. 

Where to Stay When RVing Near Arches National Park
Bringing the family in the RV? There are many great camping options near Arches National Park. Devil's Garden Campground is just a short drive from the park, has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay and is pet friendly. The Moab KOA, where we stayed when we were in Moab is a great option with the family and also a close drive to the park. If you're not an RVer, don't worry, the KOA has cabins available for you to stay during your family friendly trip to Arches National Park. There are also several primitive camping sites available for those who want to boondock with the RV. There are also many great hotels in Moab, which is just a short drive from the park.

How Much Does it Cost to Get Into Arches National Park?
A seven-day pass to Arches National Park costs $30 per vehicle or $25 per motorcycle.  If you're entering the park on foot or by bicycle, the fee is $15 per person. If you're planning on visiting other national parks in Utah, consider purchasing an America the Beautiful Pass, which grants access to all national parks and monuments for one year and costs just $80.

How Long Do You Need at Arches National Park?
We recommend spending at least two days exploring all that Arches National Park has to offer. However, if you're short on time, you can still see many of the highlights of the park in just one day.
