Continue ShoppingIf you're looking for the best pizza in Phoenix, you need to check out Pizzeria Bianco. Located in the heart of downtown, this restaurant has been ranked as one of the best pizza places in the world by multiple food critics. When my husband and I watched Chef's table and saw it we knew we had to stop during our trip to Phoenix. And let me tell you – it did not disappoint!
From the moment you walk into Pizzeria Bianco, you know you're in for a treat. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and cozy. The restaurant has a rustic feel, with exposed brick walls and wooden tables. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they add to the overall inviting ambiance.
Now, let's talk about the pizza. The menu at Pizzeria Bianco is simple, with a handful of different artisanal pizza options to choose from. However, don't let the limited selection fool you – each pizza is crafted with perfection. Our family ordered the Marinara, Margherita, Rosa, and the wise guy for pizzas. And let me tell you, it was the best margherita pizza I've ever had. The crust was crispy and chewy, the sauce was flavorful, and the fresh mozzarella cheese was divine.
One thing to note is that Pizzeria Bianco is a bit on the pricier side, with pizzas averaging around $20. However, in my opinion, it's worth every penny. You can tell that the ingredients used are of the most fresh quality, and the attention to detail in each pizza is evident. Plus, the portion sizes are quite generous, so you could easily split a pizza between a couple of people.
If you're traveling in an RV or with a family to the Phoenix area – Pizzeria Bianco is a kid-friendly spot. They offer a selection of non-pizza options, such as salads and sandwiches, that are sure to please even the pickiest eaters.
Make sure to get to the restaurant 20-30 minutes prior to opening as it gets busy fast. We arrived right at 11AM on a Saturday and the wait was 1.5 hours-but only took about 45 minutes. Because we loved Pizzeria Bianco so much we went a second time, got there at 10:40AM on a Tuesday and were the first ones there, got in right at opening. There is no take out and it's a one time order. Our family ordered more than we needed so that we could take the leftovers home with us to enjoy.
If you find yourself in Phoenix, make a point to grab a meal at Pizzeria Bianco. The experience is one you won't forget – from the inviting atmosphere to the carefully crafted pizzas. And trust me, the price is worth it for the quality of food you'll be receiving. So, whether you're a pizza lover, a foodie, or just looking for a great meal, Pizzeria Bianco has got you covered.
